Prophetess Karen “Mickey” Evans a native of Chicago, born and raised on the Westside of the city is a living testament of the life-changing power of God and his ability to transform the old man into the new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Prophetess Karen is a faithful member of Sweet Holy Spirit Church where she has attended since the age of 13 under the leadership of The Anointed and Powerful Bishop Larry D. Trotter, who serves as Senior Pastor. After years of serving in the kingdom, she submitted to the voice of the Lord who said “I am requiring from you a higher level of service.” God continued to work through her, and in 2002 she accepted her call to ministry.
In January 2005 she was licensed by Bishop Trotter as a Minister in the Lord’s church. In 2006 she was appointed as the Executive Administrative Assistant to Bishop Trotter and on September 14, 2008 she was ordained an Elder and elevated to serve as the First Assistant to Bishop Trotter.
Currently, Prophetess travels and ministers in Chicago and abroad while upholding her duties as a Member of the Ministerial Alliance, Praise Team, and Choir Member at Sweet Holy Spirit Church!
Prophetess Karen is a graduate of the Chicago Public School System. She holds a certificate in Computerized Accounting and has over 14 years of Corporate Accounting experience and is now in pursuit of higher education.
Prophetess Karen has a keen and accurate Prophetic Anointing and is committed to teaching and maintaining the purity of this office. Many have been blessed by the words that the Lord has spoken into their lives through this woman of God.
Prophetess Karen is the visionary of PTW/Preparing the World Ministries where Prophetic Revelation Meets Reality. God has charged her to use this global ministry to Elevate, Enlighten and Encourage the believer and the unbeliever.
The mission of PTW is to Prepare The WOMB (women of many backgrounds), Prepare The Warriors (men) Prepare The Weak (healing & deliverance) Prepare The Worshiper (praise & worship). She is passionate about the integrity of the church and how it is portrayed in this era. She understands that it takes submission, humility, discipline, and integrity to lead and prepare God’s people for his return.
